About
Dressmaking is defined as the craft of sewing clothes and dresses. A prime example of dressmaking is the art of sewing a beautiful dress from fabric, which is often taught in comprehensive sewing classes.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Use of sewing tools
- Carry out measurements and calculations
- Create designs for simple projects, including pattern making
- Perform basic maintenance
- Practice occupational safety and health

– Enrolment in the certificate program is subject to availability, and incomplete applications will not be processed.
– The dressmaking and tailoring course is conducted in English.
– Course contents and prices are subject to change.
– Students who choose to drop out of the sewing classes prior to successful completion will be required to pay all fees in full and will not be eligible for any discounts.
– To obtain their relevant certificates, students are required to meet the following criteria:
Minimum attendance of 90% and above,
Pass all assessments required by the pattern making course,
Abide by the student code of conduct.
